We had another successful Vets finals day with all our player giving us entertaining matches. Well done to all the finalists and congratulations to the winners. we started off the day with an epic ladies singles match, with Janette becoming the champion in a extremely hard fought 3 set match. Mens singles was won by a new member Chet, the ladies doubles winners were Sue Reidy and Anne Craig and the mens doubles was won by Dee and Chet. Its always nice to see some new champions!. Unfortunately we had a withdrawal in the mixed doubles which meant Waqar and Carol became the winners via a walk over.
We also held our plate finals alongside the vets matches. again well done to our plate winners and runners up, with some close matches played during the day.
overall it was a great day of tennis, with the standard being very high. Well done again to the winners and also the runners up.
