Finals day dawned bright and sunny but this was short-lived as the heavens opened late morning. This was not enough to dampen the enthusiasm of the spectators who supported in great spirits throughout the day, sustained by plentiful food and drink. Many thanks to the players and umpires who carried on despite the weather. Also many thanks to Anna di Murro and team for great organisation and to Rachael for cooking up a super barbeque!
Congratulations to all the winners and runners up (results can be found here) and we look forward to completion of the Men’s Doubles which had to be abandoned despite the best efforts of Amy & Chloe to sweep the puddles away!
All-in-all, a super day despite the weather!
